I can't believe how much he has grown and how different he is from that tiny little newborn mush we took home from the hospital back in October. At his 4 month doctor's visit we found out he is 15.7 lbs and 26 inches long! He is in the 94th percentile for his height.
He is so much more animated now. He talks all of the time, squeals out loud in delight, and has become interested in all of his toys. Sometimes we will give him a toy and he will put it down and grab a new one. This might not seem like much, but to us it's amazing. He hasn't rolled over lately, mostly because he no longer suffers from stomach discomfort due to the expensive new formula we have been giving him. He has also been napping and sleeping much better lately, which is such a relief to both Tye and me. He used to be lucky to get a 45 minute nap, and now sometimes he goes for 2 and a half hours! We love him so much.
He loves his mini washy

Here he is debating his dad. This pic is our current desktop wallpaper, and every time we see it we think of another thing he could be lecturing us about or arguing with us about. He is such a funny little guy!

The doctor said we could add cereal to his diet. We have only given him oatmeal a couple of times and most of it ends up on his shirt. Had to do this when Tye wasn't home because the OCD clean freak inside him would have never let this happen. :)

Hanging out with Dad.
It's so fun to watch him grow and change everyday.

I love him giving you guys a lecture.
If Tye can't handle Mason's messy eating, he is in for a world of pain the next 12 months (or longer)!
Big boy! He is growing so fast. And the plaid shorts are so cute (as is Mason's debating finger shake in that pic :)
So so cute! It looks like he's going to keep those big brown eyes, Stacey. I can't wait until he can talk and he and his dad debate (maybe I can wait...) We're excited to see all of you this week-end!
Time is going so quickly and he is growing so fast! He is just adorable in all of those pictures.
I also wish Tye lots of luck dealing with the messy eating. I go through bibs like you can't believe because I am a bit OCD when it comes to that as well. I never wipe my baby's face with a dish cloth either...fresh paper towels are the only way for me to do it. We have some clean freak genes!
Eating time is so much fun though and when he really gets it, he will LOVE it. My babies never did well with oatmeal so if you find some tummy troubles, switch to the rice (it sits much easier). And have prunes on hand because cereal can mean less frequent bowel movements. This hasn't been a huge problem for us but I know it has been for Care's kids.
Dang Stace... he totally has your eyes!!! That photo with cereal all over his face, all I can see is you! TOTALLY!
