Tye graduated from Law School yesterday! It's crazy to think that three years have passed by so quickly. We as a family have really changed a lot in this time. We became Arizona residents, bought a house, had our our sweet son Mason, and now Tye is a Juris Doctor.
On top of this accomplishment, Tye had the honor of being elected graduation speaker by his classmates. This really says something about who Tye is. He was known by all of his classmates and has spent lots of time entertaining them all in classes. His speech was amazing. He of course had people laughing for most of it and gave a touching dedication at the end. After the graduation many random people came up to him congratulating him on his speech. One guy told him that it was the best commencement speech he had ever heard.
Congratulations babe, I am so proud of you! You are my star.
Tye's parents and sister Carrie came in to town for the event. It was so fun to have them all there and I know it meant a lot to Tye. Unfortunately, we weren't able to get all of our seats together, so Tye's parents sat together and Carrie sat by me and video taped Tye's speech and helped out with Mason (who spent most of his time sitting on the steps in the aisle so he could play).

I loved it the first time in real life and it was fun to watch it again with my hubby. We are impressed! Great speech--so funny and real.
Still wish I had recorded your friend's speech to get the part he shared about you...maybe he has it for you to copy though?

It was glorious day, and we are so proud! The speech was great. It was good to see how well-liked Tye is by his classmates and professors. And Stacey, the dedication was well-deserved. Thanks for your transforming love for our son. He is a better person for having you in his life, and we are grateful he found you. We had a wonderful week-end with you three!
Wow, that was a great graduation speech. I loved the things he said about you. Congratulations! I hope he does well with the bar exam also.
