Stacey at the hospital - Episode 3

7:05 p.m.
Things are much better now that Stacey has had an epidural. She received it about an hour ago and she is now doing great. Also, breaking the water has had a profound effect on her progress and at last look (about 30 minutes ago) the nurse said she was between a 6 and a 7. Stacey is still not totally comfortable (which is understandable) but it is clear that the epidural is working effectively. The nurse said she thinks this is going to happen relatively soon (whatever that means).

Sooo exciting! Hopefully this means she won't have to have a c-section.

good good--quick progress all of a sudden. I think I remember that happening to Cec when she had Connor--she stayed at like a 3/4 all morning and Chad left for some lunch and then when he came back about 40 mins later she was at 9/10 and ready to pop that guy out! It can all change so fast. And it's good she is progressing more and more. So fun to follow along!

Slow and steady wins the race, right? But like Care said, things can change in a heartbeat...we are keeping our fingers crossed that things will continue to move forward faster than this morning!
