We spent our week in Utah hanging out with loved ones, shopping, watching movies, and playing games (Ticket To Ride mostly). It was Mason's first Christmas and even though he didn't know what was going on, I think he enjoyed it.
When we first arrived we went straight to the Smith family Christmas party. Mason got to meet a lot of his extended family and had his first visit with Santa!
On Christmas Eve we did our traditional evening with Tye's family opening presents and eating lots of yummy treats like cinnamon rolls and peanut-butter balls. Mase got to meet and spend time with lots of his cousins. He thoroughly enjoyed watching all of kids open their presents, as did we. Kids get so excited about Christmas they can hardly contain themselves - it's hilarious.

Next we did our traditional Christmas day by heading to my family's house. This was a special Christmas for my mom because it was her first year as a Grandma. My sister had a baby boy named Xander back in June so, she got to celebrate it with two new grandsons!

On Saturday night we headed up to the cabin for some relaxation and games. We played Ticket To Ride mostly (we now own this game ourselves) and the Newlywed game, which Tye and I won - mostly because Tye knows me so well and my love of meat and potatoes.

Sadly after a long and relaxing trip it was time to return home. It was such a fun holiday and thank you to everyone we spent it with for making it so wonderful.

We loved having you here! Mason handled all the hubbub of cousins and aunts and uncles and grandparents quite well. He is adorable! I loved cuddling him. As Heidi said, your family picture is definitely framing quality--a handsome threesome! Love you guys!
I too love your family pics--they turned out so well! Cute Mason even struck a pose each time--what a tiny mush he is.
We had so much fun with you guys over the break... and you and Tye really do know each other well--that Newlywed game was hilarious and so fun! I think Joseph and I need to study up some more :)
All right stacey what is your secret? You look AWESOME!! By the way took the diet Coke drinking to a minimum and am WAY less tired. You were right cafeine crashing :)
What a crisp and striking background for your beautiful family photo! And I love the one at the end with you and Mason.
I sure loved holding that cutie pie and was glad that we had some time together with you and Tye.
Won't Christmas be funny with so many little ones next year?
