Mason's 3 month birthday!

Mason turns 3-months old today - Happy 3-month birthday Mason!

Ever since we got back to Arizona after the holiday break, Mason has been going through a lot of changes. First, Mason has grown. He is now wearing outfits made for 6-month-old babies, and he just barely turned 3-months-old! When we look at pictures from Christmas, we can't believe how little Mason looks. Second, Mason has learned how to grab things. He isn't very coordinated yet, but he grabs blankies, toys, Mom's hair, and anything his little hands come in contact with. Third, Mason has started eating everything. If he can get it near his mouth, he will try to put it in his mouth. This includes his hands (he seems determined to one day get both hands into his mouth at the same time - see the pic below), his toys, and yes, Mom's hair. Mason is also learning to sit, and he is starting to get better at lying on his tummy. Fourth, he is learning to make new sounds. He tries to sing along when we sing to him, and in the last couple of days he has learned to click his lips and tongue.

It's so fun to watch our little man go through so many changes, but also crazy to see how fast he is growing up.

Here he is trying to eat both hands at the same time.

Here his fast asleep in his swing.

And here is Mase passed out on Mom. Look how big he is!

He has grown! The different stages are fun, and they pass rapidly. I'm glad you guys are enjoying it all. He is a doll!

Isn't that clothing labeling system strange? 6 months actually means 3-6 months and 12 months means 6-12 months. But most clothes don't say that. And seeing how big that sweet boy is, I am guessing he will be into the 6-12 month pretty quickly! Just remember to try all those outfits every couple of weeks because before you know it, he will be fitting in them. Don't wait until he is 6 months to start because he will be in them well before that. That whole system needs a change...

Are you enjoying life as Mr. Mom? You seem to be great at it! And Stacey, are you surviving without that mush at work? I am sure you love coming home to him! Keep posting pictures...we love them!

So many new tricks! And he is growing fast. Man that first year just seems to fly by. Wish Mason good luck from us in his double hand sucking goal :)
