Random Summer Fun

Over Memorial Day weekend it finally hit 100 degrees here. Fortunately it is still nice in the mornings and the evenings.
Before the temps get much worse we have decided to pack in as much outside fun as possible. Over Memorial day we did lots of outside playing in the water and splash pool (which Tye and Mason continue to do on an almost daily basis).

Mason ready to play in his swim gear

Mason loves having control of the hose (watch out!).

Mase and dad playing in the pool

Outside water play made us all very hungry so Mason made us some Pizza (with help of course)

Mason's favorite food these days is cheese. He couldn't get enough while making the pizza.

Last weekend we went to the zoo. Mase has changed so much since we last went a few months ago. He can now repeat back to you the names of the animals and mimic the sounds they make.

Here is Mason at the zoo's splash pad. Probably his favorite part

Family photo in the Monkey exhibit. This exhibit is really cool. You walk in and monkeys are all around you hanging on trees and ropes.

Mom and Mase getting some much needed R&R on the couch after a long day.

Mason is such a big kid I can't believe it. And your hair is super long! It has been way too long since we have seen you.

All these activities look like lots of fun. And dancing with cheese--aren't little kids hilarious?! Love to you all--can't wait to see you next month! Mase is adorable.

Gotta break in the swimsuits for LP! I am just laughing because I am still waiting for a hot enough day to fill up our wading pool and play outside. We have been to the outdoor pool a few times but they heat the water so it's much more comfortable. Glad you're enjoying the AZ heat!

Cheese? He must be a Smith!

Brigg has the same swimsuit and rash guard...so cute on Mase! Love all the random photos of life with your adorable little boy (who is growing up so fast).
